My name is Felicia Saunders and I specialize in Maternity, Newborn, Boudoir, and Family Portraits in Las Vegas and Henderson Nevada. My love for photography goes way back to being a child and playing “photography studio” with my siblings. I would tack a blanket to the wall and go through rolls and rolls of film photographing my siblings. I attended school to obtain an arts degree in commercial photography. I began my professional career in 2008 when I was hired by a professional studio. In 2009, I opened my own photography business, shooting on location, and in 2017 I opened my professional portrait studio.
As a mother, I understand the importance of capturing the fleeting moments that you will never get back. I often look at photos and videos of my children as newborns and it helps me remember how it felt to hold them close and examine their tiny little features, the love I felt when they would look at me smile, and the feeling of excitement from becoming a family. This is my why. This is why I decided to specialize in Maternity and Newborn photography. This is why I provide my client’s superior products and experiences. I want them to look at the portraits and remember every single detail and feeling they felt when they brought their precious newborn home.
Accolades
To push my knowledge, skills, and abilities I entered my very first competition art piece into the Newborn Photography category at Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) in 2018. I received a Silver Distinction Award on that piece and from then on I have been hooked. I have since entered into some of the world’s most prestigious and competitive international photographic art competitions and won several awards and accolades.
